Omerovic Niaz

Omerovic Niaz is a Bosnian artist, who paints with meticulous care, some aspects of the past and future of his Bosnia. A Bosnia, that he himself, deep down inside, sees and loves: "unknown, full of mystery and strong emotions". In Omerovic's paintings, strange environments, the fog, the undulating forests of his land prevail and represent a Bosnia that we remember and what is in our memory. They are, at the same time, the result of a strong inspiration and of a perfect mastery of the expressive techniques, symbols that help reach a result of great quality. The painter's inspiration has, nevertheless, been stimulated by old papers, manuscripts, notes, slabs, tombs, traditional monuments, mournful inscriptions of his dear, loved and ancient land.
