"Algeria in the heart"
("L'Algeria nel cuore")

On 6th March, 1998, at the Gramsci Hall in San Mauro Pascoli, a discussion took place, regarding Algeria's dramatic situation. The meeting entitled "Getting to know Algeria" gave us the opportunity to learn more deeply about the drama that the Algerian people are living and for which they are paying a high price. Two young Algerian ladies were present (Macche Bualem and Ezechia, engaged in organizations for the liberation of Algeria), personal witnesses of the massacres and of the terrorist acts in the villages and cities of Algeria. The meeting, that evening, was an occasion to launch the photographic exhibition dedicated to the violence and massacres of Algeria.
